Right Eye (OD) & Left Eye (OS)
OD stands for "oculus dexter" which is Latin for "right eye". OS stands for "oculus sinister" which is Latin for "left eye."
Sphere (SPH) aka Power (PWR)
If you’re nearsighted you’ll have a minus (-) before the number, and if you’re farsighted you’ll have a plus (+) sign.
Cylinder (CYL)
This is only for people with astigmatism. A nearsighted astigmatism will have a minus (-) before the number, and a farsighted astigmatism will have a plus (+) sign.
Axis
This is only for people with astigmatism. The axis is a number between 0 and 180 and determines the orientation of the Cylinder (CYL).
We need your Pupillary Distance (PD) to ensure that your glasses are customized to fit you perfectly. PD is the distance between the centers of each eye. Once we get your PD we can finish your glasses!
Kid PD Range: 35-65 mm.
Adult PD Range: 50-80 mm.
If your PD has 2 numbers, it is typically written 22/20 on your prescription. The first number is the right eye (OD), and the second is the left eye (OS).
1) ONLINE PD TOOL: Virtually measure your PD using our online tool! Click the "Measure My PD" button and follow the on screen instructions. Then enter your PD number in the form.
2) EMAIL A PHOTO: If your little squirmy wormy can't sit still long enough for the online tool (we totally get it!), you can just take a picture at home and we'll measure the PD for you. Follow these directions here.
Sometimes it can be hard with little ones, we totally get it! Take a picture following these directions and we'll measure the PD for you:

Make sure to add a spare frame so you can have fun swapping out your glasses colors!
If you have another pair of glasses that fit you well, you can look on the inside of the arms of your glasses for the measurement. You'll see a few numbers separated by squares or dashes, for example 41-16-100. Then you can pick your perfect Roshambo frame to fit!
During the checkout process, you will be prompted to upload a file or photo of your valid prescription. Please note that we are unable to fill prescriptions for bifocal or progressive lenses.
To create your new lenses, we also require your pupillary distance (PD), which is the distance between the centers of each of your eyes. If your prescription does not include your PD, you can easily take a photo of yourself at home and email it to us, following these directions. We would be happy to measure it for you. Providing your PD ensures that your glasses are perfectly customized for you.
To avoid any delays, please email us a photo or your PD as soon as possible, as this information is essential for creating your perfect pair of glasses, at helpme@roshambo.com.
We offer add-ons to enhance your lenses, including a scratch-resistant coating, which features a one-year, one-time replacement guarantee, or blue light blocking technology, beneficial for those who frequently use screens.
When selecting clear lenses, please choose only one option from the Rad, Radder, and Raddest tiers.
Note, the one-year, one time replacement guarantee is included at no additional cost for tinted, polarized or transitioning lenses.
Stronger prescriptions (sphere power > +/- 6.00 or cylinder power > +/- 2.00) require custom manufacturing and a $50 processing fee. Our system will indicate if this applies when you enter your prescription in the drop down fields. You can also email your prescription to helpme@roshambobaby.com for assistance.
We’re committed to making sure your glasses match your prescription perfectly. If there's any discrepancy, we will gladly fix it at no cost to you.
For extra peace of mind—especially for babies and young kids—we suggest having your local optician double-check the lenses. Many offer this service at no cost. While we have an excellent accuracy record, a quick check can be reassuring.
All our glasses come with a 1-year replacement guarantee for frame damage. If they break, we’ll send you a new pair, all you’ll pay is shipping. Our transitioning and tinted/polarized prescription lenses also include a one-time, 1-year scratch replacement warranty. Clear lenses don’t come with this automatically, but you can easily add it when customizing your order. You’ll see plenty of options to build the perfect pair.
We typically ship your glasses within 7–10 business days—often even sooner! And if, for any reason, we can’t fill your prescription, we’ll let you know right away and issue a full refund.

ADD TO CARTGraci got a pair from Walmart, they would fall off her face but also squish her long eyelashes which was uncomfortable. After seeing a child at a Dr's appt with tiny glasses, I asked the mother where she got them and immediately ordered! We are so pleased! Thank ya'll sooooooooooo much!
I was so worried about him liking glasses, now he refuses to take them off. He falls asleep in them and everything! Thank you!
Great quality frames and lenses. My 3 year old recently started wearing glasses and these fit well. They fit comfortably and stay on great. They are very sturdy. Highly recommend.
I recently purchased a pair of glasses for my 2-year-old niece, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The quality is excellent, they fit her perfectly, and they are both sturdy and adorable - which is exactly what you want for a toddler.
What truly sets this company apart, though, is their outstanding customer service. As a small business, they go above and beyond for their customers. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and attentive to my questions, and made sure all of my concerns were addressed promptly. You can genuinely tell they care about their customers and their products.
It’s rare to find a company that delivers both a great product and such a personal, thoughtful experience. I highly recommend them and will absolutely be a returning customer.
This makes our day!! Thank you so much for sharing, it means so much to our little family company! She is DARLING!
These are really fantastic! Our LO is 3, and the first day she wore them to preschool, her teachers said that she wore them all day—no problem!
She mostly wears the navy blue frames bc they work well with her school uniform. We also got the white, black, and cream—just to cover all of our bases.
The one thing I would LOVE to see is a chocolate brown frame! There's an image on the homepage of a kid wearing chocolate brown frames, but I cannot find them as an option. Those would make my life so much easier bc they would coordinate better with her school clothes and her play clothes.
Either way, we're loving the pair she has, and we're now ordering a second pair with transition lenses. :)
She is DARLING!! Thank you so much for sharing and the kind words, it means the world to us! Currently we have the latte brown in round but not the dark brown... we'll keep it in mind to bring it back! Thank you!
