Right Eye (OD) & Left Eye (OS)
OD stands for "oculus dexter" which is Latin for "right eye". OS stands for "oculus sinister" which is Latin for "left eye."
Sphere (SPH) aka Power (PWR)
If you’re nearsighted you’ll have a minus (-) before the number, and if you’re farsighted you’ll have a plus (+) sign.
Cylinder (CYL)
This is only for people with astigmatism. A nearsighted astigmatism will have a minus (-) before the number, and a farsighted astigmatism will have a plus (+) sign.
Axis
This is only for people with astigmatism. The axis is a number between 0 and 180 and determines the orientation of the Cylinder (CYL).
We need your Pupillary Distance (PD) to ensure that your glasses are customized to fit you perfectly. PD is the distance between the centers of each eye. Once we get your PD we can finish your glasses!
Kid PD Range: 35-65 mm.
Adult PD Range: 50-80 mm.
If your PD has 2 numbers, it is typically written 22/20 on your prescription. The first number is the right eye (OD), and the second is the left eye (OS).
1) ONLINE PD TOOL: Virtually measure your PD using our online tool! Click the "Measure My PD" button and follow the on screen instructions. Then enter your PD number in the form.
2) EMAIL A PHOTO: If your little squirmy wormy can't sit still long enough for the online tool (we totally get it!), you can just take a picture at home and we'll measure the PD for you. Follow these directions here.
Sometimes it can be hard with little ones, we totally get it! Take a picture following these directions and we'll measure the PD for you:
Make sure to add a spare frame so you can have fun swapping out your glasses colors!
During the checkout process, you will be prompted to upload a file or photo of your valid prescription. Please note that we are unable to fill prescriptions for bifocal or progressive lenses.
To create your new lenses, we also require your pupillary distance (PD), which is the distance between the centers of each of your eyes. If your prescription does not include your PD, you can easily take a photo of yourself at home and email it to us, following the directions below. We would be happy to measure it for you. Providing your PD ensures that your glasses are perfectly customized for you.
To avoid any delays, please email us a photo or your PD as soon as possible, as this information is essential for creating your perfect pair of glasses, at helpme@roshambo.com.
We offer add-ons to enhance your lenses, including a scratch-resistant coating, which features a one-year, one-time replacement guarantee, or blue light blocking technology, beneficial for those who frequently use screens.
When selecting clear lenses, please choose only one option from the Rad, Radder, and Raddest tiers.
Note, the one-year, one time replacement guarantee is included at no additional cost for tinted, polarized or transitioning lenses.
Stronger prescriptions (sphere power > +/- 6.00 or cylinder power > +/- 2.00) require custom manufacturing and a $50 processing fee. Our system will indicate if this applies when you enter your prescription in the drop down fields. You can also email your prescription to helpme@roshambo.com for assistance.
We’re committed to making sure your glasses match your prescription perfectly. If there's any discrepancy, we will gladly fix it at no cost to you.
For extra peace of mind—especially for babies and young kids—we suggest having your local optician double-check the lenses. Many offer this service at no cost. While we have an excellent accuracy record, a quick check can be reassuring.
All our glasses come with a 1-year replacement guarantee for frame damage. If they break, we’ll send you a new pair, all you’ll pay is shipping. Our transitioning and tinted/polarized prescription lenses also include a one-time, 1-year scratch replacement warranty. Clear lenses don’t come with this automatically, but you can easily add it when customizing your order. You’ll see plenty of options to build the perfect pair.
We typically ship your glasses within 7–10 business days—often even sooner! And if, for any reason, we can’t fill your prescription, we’ll let you know right away and issue a full refund.
We love the glasses for our baby! The flexibility and quality of material is so much better than anything in a doctors office!
Perfect fit. Other frames from the sites you’ll find on Google simply didn’t fit. They all pulled his ears down and just didn’t work. I’ve bought 4 pair now and these are hands down the best. And the ear pieces are great! He hates straps. Idk how to express how perfect these were compared to others.
IDK how to express how thankful we are for the kind words!! Truly means the world to us as a struggling small business, especially in these uncertain times! Thank you so much for the support, he is absolutely darling!!!
These glasses are adorable and super flexible. They have held up to the regular abuse of a 2-year-old boy who won't stop moving and seems to climb things using his face. We can't go anywhere without people complimenting his glasses or parents of other glasses-wearing kids asking where they are from. 10/10 would recommend!
"climbs things using his face!! HAAHAH! Love it. Thank you for the kind words and support!!!
I bought these glasses for my daughter, she’s special needs and so everything always seem to go different with her and getting her things. She wears these and luckily I bought a spare frame as well because she liked to take them off and chew on them while I’m busy. We’ve been switching them out with the spare pair but she still only has 1 lenses, unfortunately they’re getting worse every day, she scratched them on the 2nd day of having them, we’re constantly cleaning them and hopefully with the radder insurance we can replace them soon. I recommend if you can get 2 pairs of glasses with 2 pairs of lenses too.
Thank you for the feedback! You absolutely have ability to replace those scratched lenses with your radder product! Reach out when ready! Thank you so much for supporting our little family company, we are constantly amazed by incredible parents like you!!
We've bought 3 pairs of glasses for our daughter. The bendees were great and lasted with the roughness of a baby/toddler. We've recently purchased square and heart frames. The frames themselves are doing quite well, but the lenses all have scratches. We haven't even had the heart glasses for two weeks. They're cute glasses with durable frames and if our daughters prescription changes again, we'll probably still go with Roshambo, I just don't know how to scratches are affecting her vision.
