Adult Sunglasses

The most important lens specification is full UV protection: 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC. Not all sunglasses labelled 'UV protection' meet this standard — some only block UVA and UVB, leaving UVC exposure unaddressed. All Roshambo adult lenses are independently tested and certified for full-spectrum UV protection, exceeding the requirements of major international standards.

Polarized vs non-polarized is the most common question. Polarized lenses eliminate the glare from reflective surfaces — water, wet roads, snow, sand — which makes a significant difference to comfort in bright outdoor conditions. If you spend time driving, near water, or in snowy environments, polarized is strongly recommended. All our lenses are polarized.

For frame shape, consider your face shape. Rounder faces generally suit angular frames; more angular faces suit rounder or oval frames. Most adults have a graveyard of sunglasses somewhere — pairs lost, sat on, dropped on concrete, left on dashboards in summer heat until they warp. The standard advice is to buy cheap pairs and treat them as consumables.
