WHO IS HAPPY POTAMUS?
Our adorable company mascot, Happy Potamus, is a super fan of all things Roshambo! This plucky, potbellied pachyderm is just as tough and rugged as our unbreakable frames, but our glasses are (luckily) 1,000,000x lighter.
Happy can be found around our website wearing a variety of our glasses styles and colors, just like you can! Our frames are interchangeable so your kids can also change out their color whenever they want too!
WHY DO YOU NEED MY PD?
When you place your order for Roshambo prescription glasses, you’ll need to upload a picture of your child’s prescription. If the prescription doesn’t include the Pupillary Distance, you can take a picture at home and we’ll measure it for you!
PD stands for pupillary distance, which is the distance between the centers of each eye. This measurement is highly recommend to make sure that your glasses come out right. Your PD will ensure that your glasses are customized to fit you perfectly.
HOW DO I TAKE A PICTURE FOR MY PD?
1. Flip the card over and hold the Happy Potamus postcard centered below your nose. (you can also use a credit card for sizing)
2. Look directly ahead and take a picture. Cheese!
3. Upload the photo when placing your order, or email to helpme@roshambobaby.com.
UNBREAKABLE KIDS GLASSES
We know that kids are going to be rough with their glasses, and they're going to try and stretch them or toss them around. These frames can take it! They are bendable, durable, lightweight, and flexible.
Our unbreakable glasses material is a soft rubbery material like silicone but sturdier, to keep a better shape and hold the lenses in...and pretty darn unique in the optometry industry. Our secret blend is free of all the nasty stuff (BPA, phthalate, lead, latex, etc.) - that's why we make them in Italy instead of China. We guarantee it!
Because the frames are so flexible and durable, you can easily swap out the prescription lenses and put them into another frame color. Your kiddos are going to love having the option to coordinate with their outfits (we have over 20 colors to choose from)!
