Upload your prescription at checkout. It must include a valid date and doctor's signature. New to ordering glasses online? No worries, we're here to help! Note: we're unable to fill bifocal or progressive lens prescriptions.
We'll also need your pupillary distance (PD), which is just the distance between the center of each pupil. This is sometimes listed on your prescription, but if not, it's easy to get! Simply snap a photo at home following these instructions to send it to us at helpme@roshambo.com. We'll take care of the measuring for you. Sending your PD over promptly helps us get your new glasses made without any delays!
All of our prescription lenses are made from polycarbonate, a lightweight and impact resistant material that is great for everyday wear. Each lens features an aspheric design for a slimmer profile and more natural vision, along with scratch resistant protection and an anti reflective coating to reduce glare and improve clarity.
Clear Lenses
Our standard everyday lenses. Perfect for school, work, and daily activities with crisp, comfortable vision indoors and out.
Blue Light Filter Lenses
Designed for screen heavy days. These lenses help filter blue light from digital devices like tablets, phones, and computers for more comfortable viewing.
Light Responsive Lenses
Lenses that adapt to changing light. They automatically darken in sunlight and return to clear indoors, giving you convenient all day wear.
Polarized Sunglass Lenses
Made for bright outdoor conditions. Polarized lenses reduce glare from reflective surfaces like water, snow, and pavement for clearer, more comfortable vision outside.
Accidents happen, we get it! Add our warranty upgrade for one-time replacement of your glasses within the first year of purchase.
Heads up! Stronger prescriptions (sphere power > +/- 6.00 or cylinder power > +/- 2.00) require custom manufacturing and a $50 processing fee. Our system will flag this automatically when you enter your prescription, but if you have questions, just email us at helpme@roshambo.com. We're happy to help!
We want your new glasses to be just right! Your lenses will match your prescription exactly, and if anything's off, we'll fix it free of charge. For extra peace of mind, we recommend having your local optician verify the lenses (often free!). We typically ship within 7 to 10 business days, and if for any reason we're unable to fill your prescription, we'll let you know right away and issue a full refund.
Right Eye (OD) & Left Eye (OS)
OD stands for "oculus dexter" which is Latin for "right eye". OS stands for "oculus sinister" which is Latin for "left eye."
Sphere (SPH) aka Power (PWR)
If you're nearsighted you'll have a minus (-) before the number, and if you're farsighted you'll have a plus (+) sign.
Cylinder (CYL)
This is only for people with astigmatism. A nearsighted astigmatism will have a minus (-) before the number, and a farsighted astigmatism will have a plus (+) sign.
Axis
This is only for people with astigmatism. The axis is a number between 0 and 180 and determines the orientation of the Cylinder (CYL).
We need your Pupillary Distance (PD) to ensure that your glasses are customized to fit you perfectly. PD is the distance between the centers of each eye. Once we get your PD we can finish your glasses!
Kid PD Range: 35-65 mm.
Adult PD Range: 50-80 mm.
If your PD has 2 numbers, it is typically written 22/20 on your prescription. The first number is the right eye (OD), and the second is the left eye (OS).
Sometimes it can be hard with little ones, we totally get it! Take a picture following these directions and we'll measure the PD for you:
